Capability 02 · Robotics

Robotics, approached from the problem — not the hardware.

Research and requirements-led prototypes where autonomy, sensing and control improve safety and security.

A structured path from an operational problem to a prototype you can evaluate.

Where we stand: Robotics is a research area for us. We do not have a robotics product in production today. We take on requirement-led discussions, feasibility studies and prototype work, and we are clear about what is proven and what is not.

The problem

Some environments are too risky, remote or repetitive to watch constantly.

Security perimeters, hazardous sites and long patrols ask a lot of people. Autonomy and robotics can help — but only when the system is designed around the operational problem and stays under human supervision.

What we build

The building blocks

  1. 01

    Feasibility and requirement studies

Working out what an autonomous or robotic system would need to do — and whether it should.

  2. 02

    Autonomous monitoring concepts

Research into autonomous security and surveillance for high-risk settings.

  3. 03

    Sensor and control integration

Bringing cameras, location and environmental sensors together with control software.

  4. 04

    Remote supervision software

Dashboards and alerting that keep a person in control of what the system does.

How we work

Principles we hold to

Problem first
We start with the operational need, then decide whether robotics is the right answer.
Supervised autonomy
Systems are designed so people can monitor, intervene and stop them.
Honest evaluation
Prototypes are tested against agreed criteria before anyone commits further.

FAQ

Questions we are asked

Do you build robots?

Robotics is at research stage for us. We can help you scope a problem, study feasibility and build prototypes — and we will be explicit about maturity at every step.

Can we collaborate on research?

Yes. Tell us about the problem, the environment and any constraints, and we will propose how a collaboration could work.
